Abstract:
This case study is about a well known organization in Pakistan, PIA, which is struggling to reach the same heights at which it used to be once. The case clusters around the employees' dissatisfaction which leads to their demotivation. Along with that the negative impact of the unions in the organization are influencing the reputation of the organization, which further worsens the situation, as does the media which also adds insult to injury. Furthermore the involvement of the Government is also of note. The case is proposed to widen skills in students who are human resource practitioners, to enable them to come within reach of a common and widespread problem and give opinions about the solution in an innovative way.
