Saturday 5 and Monday 7 August 2023  Boston

The Case Centre CEO Vicky Lester presented the Ethics and Social Responsibility category award to Harvard Business School’s Nien-hê Hsieh (pictured below, left) on Saturday 5 August and Michael W Toffel (pictured below, right) on Monday 7 August at AOM 2023 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Harvard Business School winners

Nien-hê and Michael won the award for their case, co-authored with former Harvard case researcher Olivia Hull, Global Sourcing at Nike. The case explores the evolution of Nike’s efforts to improve working conditions at its suppliers’ factories in over 30 countries.
