The Case Centre visited Georgetown McDonough School of Business on Monday 31 July to present the trophy to the co-winner of the Production and Operations Management category award.

The Case Centre's Business Development Manager, Eric Aldrich, met with the co-winner of the Production and Operations Management category, Kasra Ferdows, to present him with his award. Also in attendance was Paul Almeida, dean and William R. Berkley Chair at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Kasra won the award for his case, co-authored with Jan Olhager of Lund University, IKEA Goes Online: Implications for Its Manufacturing. The case explores IKEA's challenge of adapting its massive system, originally designed for a brick-and-mortar structure, to cater to its rapidly growing online sales.
