Welcome to The Case Centre's list of bestselling case authors for the 2016/17 academic year. Teaching faculty whose cases sell the most copies during the previous academic year appear in the list.

Top 10 bestselling case authors revealed

Many congratulations to those who made the top 40. Such an achievement is no mean feat, as over 8,000 case writers across the globe are currently registered with us.

First place

Debapratim Purkayastha is our top bestselling case author for the second consecutive year, selling just under 18,000 copies of his cases during 2016/17. Huge congratulations to him.

The trends

19 schools from 10 countries feature in this year's list. Harvard Business School is the most successful with 16 authors.

Our joint highest new entries - Kasra Ferdows, Michael Lewis and Jose AD Machuca - enter the list at number 21 with their co-authored cases on Zara.
