Welcome to The Case Centre's list of bestselling case authors for the 2019/20 academic year. Teaching faculty whose cases sell the most copies during the previous academic year appear in the list.
This year has been like no other, as faculty and schools grapple with the challenges and opportunities of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, talented authors continue to shine as their cases are taught online and in-person around the world. Congratulations to everyone who made the list!

This year's authors represent 18 schools, from 10 countries, across 3 continents.
In an outstanding achievement, ICFAI Business School's Debapratim Purkayastha is no. 1 for the fifth consecutive year.
Of Professor Purkayastha’s success, Richard McCracken, The Case Centre’s Director, said: “The Case Centre's annual list of Top 40 Bestselling Case Authors recognises the best and most impactful case authors from business schools around the world. Alongside the well-known case writers, there are seven new entries, with INSEAD's Joerg Niessing the highest at no. 16. Meanwhile, Peter Killing from the Institute of Management Development (IMD) jumps 20 places - from no. 38 to 18.
Harvard Business School is the most successful school with 12 of their faculty in the top 40.
