Stefan Michel

Stefan Michel is currently Director of the Marketing Management course at IMD. He also teaches in the Digital Marketing Strategies and High Performance Boards programmes, as well as on the EMBA program.
Stefan is a board member at Bossard, a publicly listed company in Switzerland, and at Peka Systems, a family-owned company. He also chairs the foundation board of the Swiss Marketing Association GfM and facilitates workshop and strategy reviews with executive boards.
Prior to joining IMD, Stefan was Tenured Professor of Global Marketing at Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA) where, as well as teaching the MBAs and EMBAs, he directed customised corporate learning programmes for European, Korean and Chinese companies
Stefan has written 12 books, more than 40 academic articles and over 40 case studies, including a series of cartoon case studies on topics such as Netflix.
