Ian joined Ivey Business School in 2007. He is the Co-Director of the Business Foundations department and currently teaches a wide variety of introductory business topics, such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, finance, marketing and strategy. Prior to his academic career, Ian worked for General Electric in the equipment, finance and lending division.

Ian’s case writing primarily focuses on financial and managerial accounting topics. He has also played an integral role in Ivey’s efforts to introduce the case study method to secondary school business students. Ian’s teaching excellence has been recognised on numerous occasions as a recipient of Western’s USC Teaching Honour Roll award.

They are contemplating launching Healthy Life Group, a company to market and distribute Nutrifusion in Canada.
