About GameLab simulations
GameLab simulations provide students with an opportunity for learning by doing, where they can apply theoretical knowledge in a risk-free environment.
Depending on the game, sessions can last for 10 minutes or three hours. The games can be played individually or in groups according to the simulation. Instructors can manage the games by themselves, serving as facilitators, designing challenging scenarios that allow the students to learn the desired concepts, and coordinating the post-game discussions in which the players analyse their strategies and debate whether they could have done better.
Students can access the games through computers and tablets. Please check the requirements for each game in the product details.

Can I preview a GameLab simulation?
Instructors can preview each simulation as an instructor and as a learner to help decide whether to use them on a programme. From the simulation's product details click the 'View preview of instructor version' or 'View a preview as a learner' links in the green box.
Detailed information about how to use each GameLab simulation with students is provided in the instructor preview version.
You must be registered and logged in as an approved educator/trainer (or a member of support staff e.g. programme administrators and training co-ordinators) to access a free preview or teaching note.
How do I buy access to use a GameLab simulation with my class?
We provide two options for buying access to a GameLab simulation for use in a class.
Add a simulation to a CoursePack
Your chosen simulation can be provided to students via a CoursePack* created on our website. From the CoursePack access is seamless for students.
*At present CoursePack Creator is only available to staff at educational organisations.
Link to a simulation from your course area
Buy access for your learners and add the link we provide to your course area (Virtual Learning Environment or Learning Management System) for quick and easy access.
