About Copenhagen Business School

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is a globally recognised business school deeply rooted in the Nordic socioeconomic model. CBS was established in 1917 and is one of the largest business schools in Europe. CBS is the highest-ranking university in the Nordic countries within Social Sciences and Management, Business and Management Studies and Accounting & Finance.

CBS has more than 21,000 students and 1,500 employees (faculty and administrative staff). CBS offers 18 full-time bachelor and 20 full-time master’s programmes as well as seven executive master and 11 diploma programmes.

CBS is a government-financed private institution. CBS is among the 1% of business schools worldwide to hold the triple crown of international accreditations: AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB.

About the collection

CBS established the Nordic Case House in 2021 to research and write high quality cases that reflect business and managerial challenges in the 21st century. With a focus on the Nordic economic model, the CBS case collection supports the development of managers and leaders. The cases and teaching notes are written by CBS’s diverse faculty and bring real world issues to life in the classroom. View the cases

About the free case collection

Since 2016, CBS also has a collection of free cases as part of its commitment to the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME). CBS is a signatory and lead contributor to PRME.

All the cases focus on aspects of responsible management, including social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability. With responsible management as a common theme, the cases address a number of interdisciplinary subjects, making them suitable for a wide range of courses in business schools and universities.

CBS PRME cases are all accessible for free. View the free cases
