About Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College (MBSC) of Business & Entrepreneurship

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College (MBSC) of Business & Entrepreneurship is a private, higher education institution for both men and women. It has been established through an international partnership between Emaar The Economic City, Babson Global (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Babson College, USA), and Lockheed Martin under the umbrella of the Economic Offset Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The curriculum uses a set of signature experiential courses that will require students to apply their learning to real-world problems or start new social or business ventures. MBSC conforms to standards of quality by following both local (NCAAA) and international (NECHE and AACSB) accreditation standards.

MBSC plays a vital role in augmenting the entrepreneurial eco-system within Saudi Arabia, fully supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The college is located on the naturally preserved coastline of the Red Sea, in the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

About the collection

The MBSC Case Center was established as the first and only Case Center in the Kingdom, with the mission to develop and promote case studies with a focus on Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The cases help to contextualise learning that is both relevant to the region and informed by and for the local markets and its specific needs. The cases developed span several industries and domains including Entrepreneurship, Energy and Natural Resources, Consumer Behaviour, Fashion and Design, Healthcare, Media and Entertainment.

Even within a short span of time, the MBSC Case Center has received international validation, with one of its cases being voted among the 10 best cases in the oikos Case Competition. With nearly 100 cases in its repository, the Center is focused towards showcasing the entrepreneurial landscape of the Kingdom and the wider region, and to capture the leadership, entrepreneurial styles and current business events of Saudi Arabia, the GCC and the Middle East.

Three cases from MBSC have been published in The Case Centre's peer-reviewed journal, Case Focus.
