About Hult Publishing

Success in business is as much about understanding cultures and globalization as it is about understanding finance and marketing – Hult is committed to educating not just leaders of businesses, but leaders of the world. – Bertil Hult, Entrepreneur and Benefactor

In support of this vision, Hult’s teaching materials are deliberately global in scope, with particular emphasis on emerging markets and developing countries. Teaching materials are organized by topic area (e.g. marketing, economics) as well as by regional focus, such as North America, South America, U.K./Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. They also strive to integrate many of the ‘soft skills’ identified by Hult as critical in its extensive 2013 survey of global CEOs and senior business leaders, such as self-awareness, integrity, communication, and adaptive thinking.

Hult offers traditional-length teaching cases as well as shorter ‘caselets’ that are ideal for executive programs, with both cases and caselets accompanied by teaching notes. There are also short background or ‘technical’ notes on topics of particular interest. These materials are appropriate for graduate and executive education programs, as well as for Board discussion and corporate executive training.

About Hult International Business School

Hult International Business School traces its history to 1964 and the establishment of the Arthur D. Little School of Management, America’s first corporate university. It was renamed Hult International Business School in 2003, honouring benefactor Bertil Hult. In 2015, Hult operationally merged with Ashridge Business School in the U.K., bringing together Hult’s global network and scale in degree programs with Ashridge’s expertise in research and international executive education.

Today, Hult is the world’s most global business school with campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Shanghai, New York and the historic Ashridge Estate near London. The school offers a complete portfolio of services including MBA, Executive MBA, Master and Bachelor degree programmes, executive education and business consulting services. Hult is the world’s largest ranked graduate business school (by student enrollment) and currently places in the top one percent of all business schools.

Hult is also home to the Hult Prize, an initiative with the Clinton Global Initiative wherein teams from business schools around the world are challenged to use their business skills to address a major social challenge. The winning team each year receives USD1 million from the Hult Foundation to pursue their idea. Cases drawn from this competition are included in the Hult Publishing collection.
