The Case Centre’s 40th anniversary timeline

We opened for business in 1973 and have since grown to become the world’s leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the case method.

In 1973, the invention of the World Wide Web was still 17 years into the future, we held only a few thousand cases in our collection, and the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, would not be born for another 11 years.

Now we hold extensive case collections from all the world’s leading business schools, deliver 95% of our learning materials online, and run expert-led case method workshops at locations across the globe.

We continue to go from strength to strength and invite you to join our international case method community as we look forward to the next 40 years.

Our colourful and informative (but not exhaustive!) timeline tracks our history against a backdrop of world events. Download your free copy today!
