Coming to Brazil: ecch workshops to be held in South America for the first time

13 June 2013

Our case method workshops are to be held in Brazil for the first time as part of ecch’s commitment to strengthen its global reach.

The Director of ecch, Richard McCracken, said: "This is an exciting initiative that demonstrates our determination to enable institutions and individuals worldwide to benefit from our internationally renowned case method training.

We’re really looking forward to coming to Brazil in September, as is the workshop leader, Martin Kupp, and we hope these workshops will be the first of many in South America. We’re advising people to book their places as soon as possible, as we expect there will be a lot of interest in both events."

Expert-led workshops

The two workshops, both to be held at Fundação Dom Cabral, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in September 2013, are Using Cases to Teach (2 September 2013) and Writing Cases (3-4 September 2013). Both will be led by Martin Kupp, Associate Professor for Entrepreneurship at ESCP Europe, Paris. Martin is also Visiting Professor at EGP Business School in Portugal and the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin. His areas of expertise are strategic innovation, competitive strategy and organizational creativity. He has worked for clients such as Bosch, ThyssenKrupp, Siemens, MAN, Coca-Cola, Deutsche Bank, and Bertelsmann.
