Presentation to winning author Heiko Spitzeck
Heiko Spitzeck received his award from ecch Executive Committee member, Thomas Buergi, at a presentation at the Swiss Consul's Residence, Sao Paulo, Brazil on 22 October 2012. Heiko's case, Marks & Spencer: The Business Case for Plan A, written whilst a member of faculty at Cranfield School of Management, won the Ethics and Social Responsibility category. Heiko is now a professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, Brazil.

Presentation to winning author Jérémie Gallien
Jérémie Gallien received his award from ecch Director, Richard McCracken, at London Business School on 2 July 2012. Jérémie's case,
Massachusetts General Hospital's Pre-Admission Testing Area (PATA), co-authored by Kelsey McCarty and Retsef Levi, won the new case writer competition category. On receiving his award Jérémie said "I'm thrilled to receive this award. The ecch awards are a really valuable recognition of the work of case writers who do not always get the recognition they deserve by other means."

Presentation to winning author Hanna Halaburda
Tricia Haskell from ecch's US office, presented the ecch Case Award for the hot topic competition category to author Hanna Halaburda at Harvard Business School on 18 June 2012. Along with co-authors Ivan Nausieda, Robert McKeon and William Collis, Hanna won the award with the case One Game to Rule Them All: Lord of the Rings Online and the MMO Market.

Presentation of the outstanding contribution to the case method
Kulwant Singh, member of the ecch Executive Committee and professor at National University of Singapore, presented the ecch Case Award for outstanding contribution to the case method to Jim Erskine at the ecch Writing Cases workshop in June 2012 at the National University of Singapore.

Presentation to winning author Michael Barrett
Richard McCracken, ecch DIrector, and Kulwant Singh, member of the ecch Executive Committee and visiting professor at Cambridge Judge Business School, presented the ecch Case Award for the Knowledge, Information and Communication Systems Management category to author Michael Barrett at Cambridge Judge Business School on 27 March 2012. Michael won this, his second ecch Case Award, with the case Offshoring and Innovation at Globalco: Negotiating a Win-Win Strategy for the Outsourcing Relationship.
