The award ceremony was attended by the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty, Sankaran Venkataraman, and other faculty.

Casey, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the school, is an expert in probability forecasting and combining forecast – the art of helping management cope with the uncertainty of the future.

‘It’s a great pleasure to congratulate Casey for winning our Outstanding Case Teacher Competition, said Vicky. ‘We received many entries of an extremely high standard from a wide range of high-calibre teachers, but our judges were unanimous in their admiration of Casey, not least for his amazing achievement in creating ten new cases based on real-world scenarios to underpin his teaching programme.

We were fascinated to learn about his innovatory approach in the classroom which involves blending traditional case teaching with coding to build data science skills in tandem with management decision making. Alt text

‘The judges were hugely impressed by Casey’s dedication and creativity. Casey’s colleague, Elena Loutskina, has described how Casey expects a lot from students, but in return gives everything he has – and his students immensely appreciate it. That’s a wonderful commendation!’
