richard speaking“It’s a pleasure to return to Copenhagen Business School, where you can clearly see a very high quality of case writing, and big support for the case method in general,” said Richard, who’s in his tenth year as The Case Centre Director.

“Andreas and Torben are both worthy winners, as their cases really have been used on a global scale – 34 organisations in 21 countries.”

Ethic categoryAndreas’ award-winning case ‘Sustainability as Opportunity: Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan’ examines Unilever’s approach to sustainability as a strategic opportunity rather than a risk that needs to be managed.

Andreas, Professor of Business in Society in CBS’ Department of Management, Society and Communication, said: “This award means a lot to me as it shows a big appreciation of the development of teaching materials, which I consider to be an important part of the life of an educator, and especially a professor at a business school.”

Torben, Professor of Strategy and International Management in CBS’ Department of International and Economics Management, added: “It’s a big honour to receive this award as people are clearly finding our teaching material useful, which was the underlying idea of working on the case. It’s a great pleasure to know that this is the case."
