The Overall prize is given to the most popular case across all nine categories, ranging from Entrepreneurship to Strategy and General Management.

Peter produced the winning case, Accor: Strengthening the Brand with Digital Marketing, with Jill Avery (Harvard Business School) and Chekitan S Dev (Cornell SC Johnson College of Business).

“This case is a great example of a superb collaboration between academics; bringing together different talents and expertise on a project,” said Richard.

“One author specialises in marketing, another in the film industry and Peter understands digital disruption. Those three areas have made for a terrific case study, so it’s a fitting winner of our overall category.”

The award was presented to Peter at a lunchtime faculty meeting at ESSEC’s main campus in the heart of Cergy.
