Online case workshop, November-December 2020
Writing Effective Cases
25, 27 November and 1, 3, 10 December 2020
Five 90 minute synchronous online sessions, offline individual work, asynchronous coaching by the workshop tutors plus a full review with feedback of your case and teaching note after the workshop.
Are you new to case writing or keen to sharpen your case writing skills? This online workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to create your own highly effective teaching cases. It is ideal for those with little or no experience of writing cases, as well as more experienced case authors, who want to learn even more about the ‘tricks of the trade’, and spend some time working on their ideas in a structured process approach that is formed around the idea of rapid prototyping.
Places on this workshop are limited to ensure an interactive online classroom experience for participants. We advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that the deadline for applications is 20 November 2020.
Overview
Participants will have the opportunity to take time out to develop an idea they already have, and form it into the first draft of a case and teaching note over the duration of the workshop. The workshop will be supported by a case writing workbook that provides structure and exercises, and guides participants through the case writing process.
This workshop will be a combination of five synchronous, interactive sessions online using Zoom, and offline asynchronous individual and group work. Participants will be assigned pre-work to begin thinking about an idea for a case that they can work on during the workshop.
