Our website is having a makeover! www.thecasecentre.org will be unavailable from 10h (BST) on Saturday 31 July until 17h on Sunday 1 August while our team makes the new site live.

Why submit your case?

Case submission

Supporting case authors is one of our most important activities. We welcome cases on all areas of business, management and government from organisations and individual authors worldwide and are committed to supporting the development and distribution of new cases.

Submission to The Case Centre makes teachers, researchers and businesses worldwide aware of your materials. Details and an abstract will be included in our online catalogue. Authorised users will be able to view an online educator preview copy of your case and we will undertake worldwide distribution of your teaching materials.

Details of your case will also be included in our monthly email update service, which goes to over 45,300 subscribers worldwide. There are also opportunities to have your case featured on our website.

Organisations that are members receive royalties on sales of items authored by their staff or affiliates. Royalties are paid to the copyright holding organisation, not directly to authors.

We pay royalties on sales of cases, teaching notes, supplementary materials, CD-ROMs and DVDs. Educator preview copies are not eligible for a royalty payment.

Royalty rate

The royalty rate for all items is 28% of the sale value. View current prices

Sales under our Undergraduate Case Teaching Licence attract a pro-rata royalty payment.

We send the membership representative a royalty statement by the end of June each year. Payment is made direct to the bank account of the organisation at which the case was written on provision of appropriate bank details.

Payment will be made if the sum is £100 or more. Smaller totals are carried forward to subsequent years and payment made at the end of the year in which the minimum figure has been reached. If authors believe they have any pecuniary interest in the royalties paid, they should take up the matter with the organisation to which the royalties have been paid.

If you have submitted a case to us you can find information about its usage and who royalties are paid to at your organisation in your product portfolio.
