The Case Centre Connect Issue 27

Dear colleague

Welcome to the Spring issue of Connect!

Have you ever tried camel milk? Find out about Desert Farms, the first ever US-based camel milk company, in our featured case. You can also discover how City Lodge Hotel Group aimed to meet a gap in the market for three-star limited or select service hotels in South Africa, and what challenges Belgian and Dutch family entertainment group, Studio 100, faced when expanding.

Our fourth featured case investigates the acquisition experiences of KazOil, an oil production cooperative based in Kazakhstan.

We also interview workshop tutor Scott Andrews for our ‘5 minutes with’ feature; explore using cases with undergraduates; and revisit the case method’s historical development to think differently about case teaching and the future of business schools in an article by Todd Bridgman, Stephen Cummings and Colm McLaughlin.

Best wishes
The Case Centre team
