The Case Centre Connect Issue 39, Spring 2019
padding

Dear colleague

Welcome to the Spring issue of Connect!

In the first of our featured cases, FC Schalke face some key decisions on how best to move forward with their eSports teams.

Next up, we explore Ken Owen's difficult task of creating a complex supply network at the UK's newest nuclear power station, Hinckley Point C.

Then we head to East Africa to look at how millions of people, who live off-grid, are making use of plug-and-play solar powered systems. And in our final featured case, TomTom have just found out that Google have won a major automotive contract with one of their key clients, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. How do they overcome this challenge?

Our duo of features highlight the launch of Case Focus, a journal publication outlet for high-quality, peer reviewed teaching cases from the MEA region; and the role cases play in developing nations, where business and management education is growing.

Finally, Tim Mescon, AASCB Executive Vice President and Chief Officer, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, takes his place in the ‘5 minutes with…’ hotseat.

Best wishes
The Case Centre team
