Ivey Business School at Western University is Canada’s leading provider of real-world, case-based business education. Founded in 1922, Ivey’s mission is to develop leaders who think globally, act strategically, and address critical issues facing organizations and society, through impactful research and transformative learning experiences. Drawing on extensive research and business experience, Ivey faculty provide the best classroom experience, equipping students, through case method learning, with the skills and capabilities they need to tackle today's leadership challenges. Beyond the classroom, Ivey students gain a global perspective on business issues, through international study trips, exchanges and practicums. Renowned for its case method of learning, Ivey is one of the two most important producers of business cases in the world, alongside Harvard Business School, and is the world's largest producer of current Asian and Indian business cases. Ivey Publishing provides business case studies with a global perspective. With over 8,000 products in their collection, Ivey Publishing adds 200 classroom-tested case studies each year. Virtually all cases have teaching notes. Clear, concise, and current, Ivey cases are lauded by the academic community as meeting the rigorous demands of management education by responding to the ever-changing needs of business and society. Furthermore, over 2,000 Ivey cases have been translated into French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Traditional Chinese. Since 2022 The Case Centre has received 182 new cases for distribution from Ivey authors. In total the collection available through The Case Centre numbers 5,200+ cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. 59 of those are prize-winning cases. |
