Since 1990, Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous and high-impact thinking and transformative education. The School works to solve real-world problems that have a lasting impact on society. Research informed teaching that equips students to make real-world impact sits at the centre of programmes at CJBS. Case studies provide an ideal tool to allow students to put theory into practice by stepping into the shoes of a practitioner facing a challenge. CJBS is engaged with teaching and developing new case studies, with a frequently updated and bestselling collection covering a variety of disciplines and sectors that reflect the diverse and global nature of CJBS research and teaching. Collaboration is an important part of the ethos at CJBS and is key to the approach taken in developing case studies. Many cases in the CJBS collection, were co-designed and co-authored with practitioners or CJBS students. Working directly with non-academic partners enables CJBS case studies to present the latest in-depth practice knowledge and strengthens collaborative relationships. Case studies developed alongside students reflect the interests and experiences of the student body, feeding into the culture of teaching colleagues and students working together to make real-world impact. In total the collection available through The Case Centre numbers 90+ cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. Four of those are prize-winning cases. |

“At CJBS we see the case method as a key component of our commitment to research informed teaching and to research that engages with real-world challenges. Giving students the opportunity to put theory into practice through interesting case studies focused on significant organizational and social challenges is central to our teaching philosophy.
"CJBS produces a select number of case studies each year that highlight collaboration between our faculty, students, and non-academic partners. We are committed to building a case collection that reflects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our student body.
"The global reach of The Case Centre Impact Index and the variety of institutions included is testament that the case method transcends academic, organizational, and national boundaries. CJBS is pleased to be included in the first Index, and to be working with The Case Centre to share exciting content from our faculty, students, and network of partners.”
