MIT Sloan is a different kind of management school. They’re not iterating on a better widget or cashing in on the latest business fad. They’re not talking about management in the abstract. As part of the world’s leading research institution, they’re bringing together today’s brightest minds to tackle global challenges. For real. At the intersection of business and technology, they’re exploring the future of work. They’re launching companies that kick start local economies in the developing world. They’re retooling systems to make health care work better and to engage people around the world in addressing climate change. Since 2009, the MIT Sloan School of Management has provided open and free access to its case study collection. Every case carries a creative commons license allowing it to be downloaded, copied, and distributed/used free of charge by anyone worldwide, no permission required. While this collection covers a wide array of industries, companies, and organisations, it focuses mainly on areas in which MIT Sloan’s innovative research and teaching are world renowned. In total the collection available through The Case Centre numbers 109 cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. 11 of those are prize-winning cases. |
