Established in 1971, SDA Bocconi School of Management is the best international business school in Italy. The footprint and spirit of its founders – according to whom every learning experience is a transformative journey – are alive today more than ever. More than a century after its inception, SDA Bocconi is still true to the values that first inspired its creation. Through its academic offering and robust investment in research, Bocconi manages to address industry needs for training and innovation, while focusing on modernization and cultural integration. The faculty of SDA Bocconi School of Management has been committed for more than 30 years to writing cases, covering a broad range of industries and several topics such as strategy, entrepreneurship, accounting and finance, organisational behaviour, human resource management, marketing, innovation and operations, ICT, and many more. The SDA Bocconi case collection contains thousands of cases with their teaching notes, simulations, and business games in both digital and text format. All cases have been tested in the classroom. The majority of cases are based on field research, the rest are based on consulting experience, as well as on published sources. The SDA Bocconi cases set the stage for discussions, foster classmates’ interaction, and help students learn to analyse problems and provide solutions. In total the collection available through The Case Centre numbers 300 cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. Five of those are prize-winning cases. |
