Their contribution to global innovation is world-leading, changing the way society thinks, works and learns. Cranfield are proud of their links with industry. They are an integral part of their history and vital for their future. Management has been part of Cranfield University since the 1950s. The University was founded on an old RAF site as the first postgraduate college of aeronautics. The School of Management grew out of an industrial need for management training and was formally established in 1967 (although the Cranfield MBA dates back to 1964). The airfield the University grew up around is still in use. They are globally recognised for their excellence in leadership development and for their powerful industry links and real-world focus. The Cranfield includes a number of prize-winning cases featuring a range of well-known brands including British Airways, Formula One, innocent Drinks and Orange. In total the collection available through The Case Centre numbers 300 cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. 13 of those are prize-winning cases. |
