Abstract
In 2005, entered the low-cost airlines (ABC) in Mexico, following the model presented in Europe and United States of America. Additionally, Mexicana de Aviacion ceased to be owned by the Government to become private. In 2008, year in which a crisis is presented in the USA and the rising price of oil, are variables that managers of ABC should consider in their planning. Students should develop an industry analysis to determine which of the ABC will take off at all or some of them close.
