Abstract
This is the first of a three-case series. Dennis Levine uses confidential information belonging to the Mergers and Acquisitions Department in which he works. Later he involves other people in the obtainment of restricted information, which he uses to make a profit. Ivan Boesky and Levine meet during their related business dealings, but they are finally discovered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (ISEC).
