Abstract
The managing director of international businesses checks the progress of a Lean program in a regional headquarters site that two years previously had negative Net Recovered Margin (NRM). He had worked closely with the site to implement a program of Lean improvement. His primary objective in this review is to access the key factors involved in the program's success in bringing the negative NRM into positive territory. Students will learn some of the key issues that the site team discovered had contributed to the negative NRM.
