Abstract

This is part of a case series. In 2003, a group of spin-offs from Tetra Pak, launched Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited, a company that provides liquid aseptic packaging material and related services to dairy and non-carbonated soft drink producers. However, by the next year, its co-founder and Chairman, Hong Gang, was looking for ways to survive in a market dominated by its competitor Tetra Pak, the largest liquid food packaging provider in China and in the world.
