The case describes the history of the technology center Royal Dutch Shell opened in India from its founding in 2006 till its integration in the company’s new Projects & Technology organization in 2009. The new technology center, Shell Technology India (STI), sought to deliver advanced technical studies, projects and services for Shell businesses around the world (with a focus on Asia) as well as to support Shell activities in India.
