Abstract

This is part of a case series. The case is a brief summary of the events surrounding the resignation of the Chairman (Gavyn Davies) and Director-General (Greg Dyke) of the BBC in January 2004, following a report by Lord Hutton that strongly criticised the BBC's editorial processes. It is suggested as a handout at the end of class after discussion of the (A) and (B) cases and the video which deal with Greg Dyke taking over as Director-General of the BBC.
