Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (IMD-3-1344 and IMD-3-1345). This case describes the principles that the IT (Information Technology) department uses to make the key IT decisions in the bank. It describes the architecture of the bank and the governance structure. It also describes the evolving role of the Chief Information Officer, and how the Chief Information Officer works with the rest of the organisation to make decisions about IT.
