This case is about the team and teamwork behind West Side Story: A Broadway musical created in the mid-1950s that changed the face of American theatre. The case illustrates how a team of powerful ''virtuoso'' all-stars created and conceptualised, collaborated, and shared leadership roles during the project that launched West Side Story - from its inception to worldwide success.
