Abstract
This is the second of a two-case series (IMD-6-0227 and IMD-6-0228). The (B) case focuses on quality management challenges faced by Nestle. The case investigates potentially vulnerable areas of Nestlé''s supply chain. It describes Nestlé''s proactive approach in trying to identify its challenges and further improving its performance. The case presents four parts of the organisation, each facing very different challenges ranging from traceability and manufacturing efficiency to managing diverse customers. The case builds on the examples presented in the (A) case allowing participants to continue the discussion and take it further with a specific company example and its challenges. A video ''601-037-3'' is available to accompany the case series.
