Abstract
This case is focused on the acquisition of Spectrum, Inc - later renamed to EMX, Inc - by Ericsson Radio Systems. The case highlights the motivations for the acquisition as well as the strategic, managerial and entrepreneurial issues that the acquisition of EMX raised within Ericsson in the context of a fast-growing international market.
