Abstract
Murphy''s Law: What can go wrong will go wrong. Charles Cotter is a new manager at Jurassic Oil''s headquarters. One day he arrives at work to find protesters are protesting the killing of birds at Jurassic''s refineries. Cotter is in charge of fixing the problem. He has to find a solution to the problem before his Chief Executive Office ''Ivan the Terrible'' returns from a business trip. He''s on his way. In the meantime Cotter must negotiate a deal with John Evans, the tough director of PFAR, an animal rights interest group. Time is running out, what should Cotter do? (This case, written in the first-person narrative, is entirely fictitious.)
