Abstract

This is the second of a three-case series (IMD-3-0725 to IMD-3-0727). This case begins with the acquisition of Unikeller and follows the growth of the company over the ten years after the acquisition. Finally a point is reached where Rieter Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kurt Feller is considering a change in the leadership of his Unikeller division. At the end of the case a candidate is proposed, and his CV is provided. The students must then decide if he should be hired or another candidate sought, or, if nothing should be done at all.
