Abstract
This is the first of a two-case series (IMD-6-0195 and IMD-6-0196). CMP is in serious problems - its basic operations are out of control and its most profitable products are declining in volume. It needs a major turnaround. The problems are compounded by poor performance of a sister company to support CMP operations. The company needs to reengineer several of its key processes.
