Abstract
This is the first of a two-case series (IMD-4-0242 and IMD-4-0243). Robert Martin dreams of one day becoming a CEO. The case follows him through his life right up until the day comes when he is offered a position as CEO. There are two things that complicate his decision. First, he hardly knows anything about the company he''s been offered to run. Second, he has less than 24 hours to make up his mind and has no one to turn to for help. What happens should he take the job? What happens if he doesn''t? A cartoon version of the case is available (497-029-1).
