Abstract

This case is applicable for students of BBA and MBA level who are studying marketing and strategic management as a subject. It discusses about the enormity of the drug menace in the state of Punjab India, the challenges faced by the families of the drug addicts and their efforts to get their wards treated. The case also touches upon the financial costs and the social stigma attached with the treatment. The challenges faced by the company to establish itself in the state, choosing the different target segments, positioning of the company while competing with the rehab centres already existing and in competing with the Intonation rehab centres in attracting the non resident Indians as their patients.
