Abstract
Predicting and Managing change is one of the difficult tasks for a Manager. The case is about the role of HR manager in the situations where it is difficult to stop the workers to form unions, especially in the environment where all other organisations in the surrounding area witnessing more than three trade unions in the same plant. The case teaches practices displayed by HR manger and ethical issues related to them. The case also highlights vibrant issues between the General Manager (IR & HRD) and workers on matters relating to Union Formation, Attitudes of Management towards Workers and vice-versa.
