Abstract
Michael Raber, Continental Head Asia Pacific, Kistler Ltd, is convinced that the KistlerNEXT strategy, released following its review by the Executive Board, is an important and forward-looking step in the right direction. Kistler has always been distinguished by a combination of proven visionary forward thinking and solid commitment. The ability to address changes more actively and consciously is crucial for the successful implementation of the new strategy in China. Mr Raber is considering concrete steps to prepare his management team and employees in China to specifically address the future challenges facing KistlerNEXT. With the defined strategy, the employees are required to encourage cooperation, teamwork and leadership ability. This case addresses strategy implementation in multinational corporations and the question 'How can the execution of the strategy be supported by development and training activities'.
