Abstract
Reddit, known as the internet front page, was one of the largest websites in the world with more than 1.6 billion page views per month. Starting its journey in 2005, the news aggregator went through many ups and downs, yet it was successful in gaining fair enough popularity. As of 2015, the website ranked as the 14th most visited site in the US and 36th in the world. However, this glory did not last long. The company had to face a massive turmoil by 2016 due to a number of talented employees leaving the company, protests from users and unpleasant work culture and many more. Apart from this, the company was unable to generate sufficient revenues as compared to its expense. Yet, the company saw potential in itself to become a leading publisher in the world with its unique ways. In the backdrop of these events, it had to be seen that would Reddit’s confidence on itself bring fruitful results? Would it be able to gain back the lost traction and become a leader in the publishing industry?
