Abstract
The trustees of a music trust were pondering the future of their chamber music concert series. For 15 years, the series had been operating in a historic hall, however, the maintenance and repair costs associated with the hall were becoming cumbersome and expensive. The trustees learned that in exchange for a sizable one-time donation, the concerts could be held at another location. The trustees wondered whether the move would be viewed as satisfactory by their loyal patrons and whether it made financial sense.
