Abstract
When a former employee learned that her former supervisor, a senior manager, was being considered for a promotion to chief executive officer, she contacted the chair of the company with allegations of sexual harassment by the senior manager. The vice-president of human resources interviewed the complainant who described her former supervisor''s constant social invitations and repeated conversations of a sexual nature. The vice-president of human resources is shocked by what she hears, and must decide how to respond.
