Abstract
The bank project (see the (A) case 9A98M007) has been subject to an audit and the bank has adopted a ''take charge'' strategy with respect to the management of the project to control cost escalation and schedule. Class discussion can be directed to focus on the analysis of the situation in which the bank finds itself and what the bank should do now: key roles and tasks for the project management in light of the priorities and objectives.
