Abstract
This is part of a case series. 'Fortune Mine Company: Uncertainty and luck (B),' depicts the situation of the same firm in the eyes of the protagonist almost a year later, as of February 2017. It is implied that he finished his task on time and was able to provide his boss and the board with a brief analysis and more importantly with a set of recommendations to be implemented. It is indicated a summary of the devised strategies and how not all the challenges (that were initially identified) could be addressed (in this case, to face the production and rising cost problems, the debt issue was placed as a second level concern, important but not urgent). And so the concept of trade-offs is enhanced in the mind of the students. A summary of the real outcomes for the company is presented, culminating in the changes in the organizational structure and the perspectives for the future.
