Abstract
Apple Inc (Apple), a pioneer brand in the tech-industry, had a long way to go as far as gender diversity was concerned. Apple, a stalwart brand, had deployed only 32% of females during the year 2017, which revealed the workplace sufferings within. Experts had already acknowledged that, there was a big gap in terms of progression of women within Apple's workplace, which was why there were lesser women in Apple's boardroom. Despite facing critical reviews, experts had claimed that, Apple had shown little chances of improvement over the period of years as far as gender related issues were concerned. Apple, however, acknowledged that, they were continuously working towards creating a balance favouring gender equity. Consequent to this, a gradual increase of women workforce participation was reflected as per Apple's hiring statistics, during the years 2014-17. Thus, initiating change management, Apple was quick enough to acknowledge the need for a diversified work culture, which would promote employee performance within. Whether Apple, the multi-generational brand with a large employee base would be able to cope up with such cultural issues and re-build the brand in future remained a question yet to be answered.
