Abstract
Time management is the synchronization of tasks and activities to maximize the effectiveness of an individual's efforts. Essentially, the purpose of time management is enabling people to get more and quality work done in less time. There is no doubt that being on time is a virtue that is held in high regard in any country. Moreover, one’s being on time is treated as a sign of a professional, reliable and a caring person. But the time mismanagement has gripped our Indian society very badly and is defeating the quality of our systems. This case study explores some good experiences where rather than time management we are doing its reverse. We are nowhere when it comes to good time management applications. The case study also tries to learn Indian perception on time management in comparison to perception in advanced countries.
